Safest in Latin America (South, Central or Mexico) is Chile. In South America Uruguay, Argentina and Bolivia are relatively safe. Costa Rica and Panama are the safest places in Central America but Nicaragua is relatively safe. Guatemala, Honduras and Venezuela are the most dangerous places.

For all of Latin America it is Chile. For Central America it is Costa Rica.
