The Iguassu Falls are definately worth a visit. I think there is nothing grander.
Copacobana and Ipanema in Rio are nice beaches, and that is all they are.The Redeemer is impressive, if he comes out of the fog.Great view from up there. Buenos Aires just like any other big city with interesting sites to see.
I hope this helped you a little. Good luck, Paul
I recommend you visit Peru, has a lot of variety in culture, tradition, gastronomy, etc.. Also you can meet the mighty Machu Picchu, the city of Cusco and all archaeological sites. It's spectacular.
I recommend that you hire the services of a travel agency and plan your travel itinerary with them.
I have also visited all those places and I'd choose Peru for their great culture, history, landscaping, nature, unparalell gastronomy, etc. Crime rates in Brazil are one of the highest in the world and Argentina is not so friendly with foreigners. You will also face problems with money exchange as the government hat put restrictions on the buy and sell of foreign currencies. Avoid all these hassles and visit Peru and enjoy a journey that will last forever in your memories.
Defenetly to Peru!
Its such a beautifull place wth great people and its also cheaper the stuff over there!
youl be surprised how mmuch things youl be able to buy PLUS they got Machu Picchu that is one of the 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD!!!!
so beat it brazilian people Peru is BETTER!!!!!!!!!
Even if Peru is breathtaking I believe you won't regret going to brazil and argentina, based on your preferences, brz and arg give waaay more shopping oportunities and brazilian food is very diverse and really good. And both rio and the falls are breathtaking, go on march to rio to watch carnaval!
Hello,
I had always wanted to visit South America because of the culture, beautiful scenery, and great food. I was looking at two tours: Peru (Machu Picchu, Lake Ticcaca, Lima, and Cusco) or Brazil and Argentina (iguassu falls, Christ the Redeemer, Buenos Aires, and Rio). I can only do one of these tours in May or August 2013. Which tour is better based on my preferences (shopping, food, culture, and sightseeing)? Thanks
