I think it is a good thing if one is young. Although there are plenty older folk offering a couch and sleeping on a stranger's couch. For one night it is OK. Best to use the offers from people who are classified as OK by CS.

Well, it's okay if the person stays for a short time only. When it get's longer like 3 months, kick him/her out, he's taking advantage.
