There are beautiful villages all over the world including many of them in Italy. However, it's difficult to move to another country. There are also nice villages in upstate New York and in rural Virginia among other places.

Most counties have nice villages in the UK.... I am presuming you are here??? But I would recommend Shropshire, Staffordshire or Cheshire - and almost everywhere in Wales and Scotland!
