Try ultimatewb, it's very good and cheap way to do it. The web hosting there is just a few dollars a month, and you can put ads on your website, and use your own domain name. Plus the website builder has a built-in tool to bring traffic to your website.
What you can do is purchase a domain from one of the suggested sites and then connect it with a www.webydo.com hosting website. You will be able to create your website and publish ads there as well if this is what you wish to do.
If you want to place you own ads on your site I would recommend getting you own hosting package. Packages start at very reasonable levels (ours start at $4.99/month for example). You then get full control on what is on the website. I would install WordPress and use that unless you have web design experience. Our packages come with one click installs making it simple and easy to have a website in five minutes.
