Should I call myself Alice or Alyss?

Posted at: 2015-03-04
My real name is already used by a professional artist/designer, so I need to use a different name when I design things, but should I use the name Alice or Alyss?

Alice; other one looks daft.

Alice is Alice. Alyss is short for Alyssa

I like Alice, it's classic name. Alyss sounds a bit Chavy/red neck/bogan whatever part of the world from, sounds like your trying be different with the name Alice but it just looks a bit tacky

Alyss is er unusual. But I think it would suit someone in the 'arts' and allied industries. I can see it being a clothing brand for example. Or even a brand for kitchen wastebins, washing up racks etc. Oh, that's Aldiss?

Or, would it be an option to spell your surname differently, or utilise your middle name (or a made-up middle name)?

if u want unique then go for alyss if normal alice
