Which is better? USA or the UK?

Depends what you want. In respect of freedoms and so forth there is little difference between USA & UK since both come from the same roots - Magna Carta and etc.

In terms of climate UK wins hands down - no tornadoes here - at least, not yet. Also the winter climate - esp. here in London is at worst bearable and at best mild - around 45F in January rising to a boiling hot 75F in Summer - although a couple of Summer's back it did ready a staggering 90F here in London and the Underground staff handed out free bottles of water to us as we went down the Tube.

Economy wise UK manages. We are also unique in being the only nation which can literally be called a 'property owning democracy' since about 75% of us own our own houses and homes. Some of us own more than one house, why not indeed!.

Otherwise, UK (better known as the Mad-House) is populated by a mob of disparate Germanic tribes who cannot agree on anything - we eventually came up with an idea which allowed the inmates to take over the asylum in a place called The House of Commons - we've got other names for it - far to unfit to be published here.

London UK

I think that UK is better than USA as you have much more freedom the UK is a nice place to live

Uk

USA for more variety and marketability, and I just like the ideals and holidays and so on. UK is ok. that is my personal opinion, but as far economical balance goes, UK wins. and it has a much smoother atmosphere than america (I have only been in new york, but I'm a fan of many british films, not to mention the Sherlock Holmes series with Cumberbatch, so I feel I have a somewhat clear idea of the place)

I think USA is a better than UK. I just love it due to its prime locations and natural beauty ,i like usa bt not bad uk just awasame 2 country

You asked this in the UK section so obviously you know what people here are rooting for. Anyway, I've been to both and US was far more enjoyable/interesting. But living wise, i think it would be ok to grow up in UK.

Two very different cultures, people, and history. Depends on what you're aiming to see. The United States has lots of war monuments, and other historical exhibits. The United Kingdom also has many historical buildings, and attractions. In my personal opinion, the United States has more to offer because it is home to so many cultures and diversities, so there is a little bit of everything.

UK for its old history but overall USA has different geographic landscapes and more cultures to explore. Each state is different and there's 50 of them to explore.

I think USA is a better than UK. I just love it due to its prime locations and natural beauty. It is a beautiful region for me to travel around it and have lots of fun with my friends and family.

I'm american but I'd say the UK. Both countries have faults, but the US seems to be worse.
