No and the journey by bus would take an absolute age. There is a frequent fast train service between the 2 cities taking only 90 minutes. For cheap fares book well in advance for specifically timed trains.

No, the Scottish bus pas is only for use in Scotland, and the English one for England. We are increasingly becoming two very different countries and this is one example of how we don't cooperate.

NOT in England...The ones issued in all four home nations can only be used in those places.....Near Chester, for example, is a pain as western suburbs are in Wales....
