It seems to me unlikely that we would get openly involved. We don't have any strategic interests in Ukraine. Western Europe may have more at stake. Right now we're just putting economic pressure on Putin with lower gas prices. He's not going to have the money to wage a war.
There are allready economic sanctions in place against russia.
But if you mean military involvment the answer is no.
Nobody is willing to fight russia for the ukraine.
Why not? Their silence is basically a way of saying: hey Russia, have fun invading countries and starting war. Aren't their just giving Russia a green light to do all of this?
