Can I consider myself a tiny bit Welsh?

My parents moved from Turkey to England when I was 5 turning 6 I lived in England for roughly 10-11 months then moved to Wales. I've become accustomed to the culture and I feel Welsh of course I have my roots but I feel more connected to Wales because I've been here all my life really. I know I shouldn't class myself Welsh.

Sounds like you are a Turkish national...... however having lived and been brought up in Wales your ethnicity, which means YOUR customs, cultures , affiliations and associations in YOUR home and where YOU live will be Welsh ( and no doubt Turkish too) so the food you eat, the language you speak etc ....

Citizenship is the same as nationality and there is no such thing as Welsh nationality, Welsh people are British by Nationality, so if you have naturalised then you are British living in Wales

Sounds like your ancestry is Turkish, but your memory is Welsh. R u a Welsh citizen? If so, you're Welsh.

Do not admit to anyone that you have Welsh blood - what a disgrace!

technically, you are Turkish. However, spiritually, you are Welsh!

No - you can only say your Welsh if YOU were BORN in Wales.

Just call your self british

ya man, don't be so hard on yourself. You're not THAT bad

Yes.

No but just as you say you get tied to a place.....

You are Turkish...
