how much will i need to travel for a month? im from england if that helps. i just want enough to eat comfortably, have a roof over my head and be able to get public transport.

Take your tent along also, sometimes a CS host if already hosting someone else, can offer you his/her lawn to pitch the tent.. and normally you are offered whatever is cooked in the house for free
