It's my dream to travel and I had an idea to create a vlog channel for youtube of me traveling to unusual places and also giving travel tips. I'm very young and have a very bubbly and weird personality. But I'm worried that no one will be interested. I intended on making it very interesting but funny. I would love your complete honesty, would you watch?

If I saw it on TV I'd watch something like that. Don't know what Vlog is. To watch it as a religion, it would have to be very entertaining.

No, I would not. I travel a lot myself and handle alkl the arrangements myself, but don't have much interest in watching vlogs.

I do not watch vlogs but have followed several peoples travels on blogs. I am sure that if you can make a quality vlog (as in content and not too bad in camera use) you will get followers.

Most of them will not want to pay and you need a lot of followers to get money out of any blog and vlog.

So yes, go ahead but no, do not expect to be able to travel from the money the vlog brings in.

I watch some of these so called travel professionals on the idiot box, and I have to laugh at times. They do not come close to some of us frequent flyers. or those of us that have to fly to other destinations for work.

There is one Travel show on PBS I watch at times, and he is pretty much down to earth.

Have you researched youtube and seen how many travel blogs there are?

I think you should do it. It doesn't cost much if you're traveling anyway. It's impossible to predict what will catch on, but it's worth a try.
