My uncle has several rifles, shotgun, pistols and revolvers. In my European country this is all legal if you have the right (somewhat expensive) permits, in others you can't even buy pepper spray. One thing that no European country allows (to my knowledge) is concealed or open carrying in public. You can have your weapons in the trunk of your car, at home or at the gun range, but not on you when going to the store or taking a walk through a park full of children.

Once more (all together now): Europe is a continent of many different countries, each with their own cultures and laws. Please stop acting as if it's all the same all the time.

Some do legally & illegally..MOST do NOT.....NOT GUN CRAZY like some in USA....In Switzerland men do military service each year to age 50 and keep one at home......Manages to be the most civilised place in all EUROPE....

No. I mean, some people do - police, hunters, a few people who got a permit. But generally, no, people survive just fine without carrying a gun everywhere they go.

Where I have been in Europe a good number do, They are mainly hunters.

Ye they do and have for centuries, long before the US was found.
