The UK: I think the UK has more beauty when you look at it from an architectural perspective. It's a rather smaller country, but I think things like Buckingham palace, and Big Ben, and the different structures you can see in the countryside are far more beautiful than the US. The UK has a mix of old fashioned, cobbled streets, with quaint little villages, and urban areas with towering skyscrapers. Plus, the beach along the coastline can be pretty beautiful, too.
The US: For me, the US is the winner. I can say that I've been to the US many times, and I think it's just much more diverse, and has so much more to offer. I live in Spain, and I can tell you that the US is beautiful more for it's natural beauty. Road trips are a treat. The national parks are amazing, and the colors are beautiful. The canyonlands, the beaches, the forests, the deserts, the tundras, the mountain ranges, and the tropics that are spread throughout all fifty states are breathtaking. It was like visiting another planet. And they have such a diversity of food, people, geographical features (volcanoes, glaciers, geysers, etc..,) weather (though it is often really violent and scary), animal and insect life, and so much more. Not to mention, the nightlife is fantastic, with cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, and Miami.

The U.K. is not a country. Perhaps you mean England when you mention Buckingham Palace.
The US is a lot, lot bigger than the UK so there is much more variety. You seem to have missed out on the wilder areas of the UK. Upland Scotland for instance. The lochs and mountains. Both countries have much to be admired.
I like the US for its darkness. In Britain there is always an orange glow in the sky so you can't stargaze properly. Texas is great for that. You can't beat the British countryside though. The Lake District and Yorkshire Moors. Yes we have national parks too. Smaller than US ones but still beautiful.
The first writer is not right, he is just advocating his country. The US is all same, same articheture everywhere especially in eastern states and nothing interesting but high skylines .

Both are great nations and share the best partnership in the world. The US would not exist without the UK and the UK may have lost more than her empire during WWII if not for the US. Both countries are the envy of the world, and rightfully so. GB gave us our language and culture and we returned the favor through scientific and technological developments. When compared to UK , US is highly developed in all aspects and its a vast country there are many nice places to visit and spend a great time. According to me if we compare every country individually they are the best in there aspects of culture and diversity. Each and every thing is unique in the world so lets enjoy it in the same way.
There is beauty everywhere. Some like an ocean view,others like a view of the mountains. Some like the view of a city skyline.
There are more than two countries in the world. Maybe you like the view here.
