How to run away from home at 15?

I would really like some advice on how to run away from home.

The back story is that...well, I'm past the point of return emotionally, and my parents found out that I am suicidal today. After a talk with them and my new psychologist, I found out that they don't understand me, and that no one on the planet Earth ever will. I have a nice home, and my circumstances are much better than that of a lot of other teen age girls, which is why I hate myself. I'm selfish, and I have realized today that I no longer want to cause my family any pain from all my foolish mistakes.

So, sad story aside, I have decided to be a long term run-away. Yes, I have already written out my pro's and con's, and I do understand that I could be raped, mugged, or murdered. I don't care, I need to get out of here. I do have a simple plan, but it doesn't involve going TOO far away from my hometown. (I know it like the back of my hand, and I know all the spots where I could receive shelter, and get food.) However, this plan needs proofing, and I need to know if it's a good idea to stay close-ish to home, even if I know where I can get all my bare essentials. Oh yeah, and I also have a money issue, so I need some tips on that.

(As far as protection goes, I plan on masquerading as a boy, and I also have a can of pepper spray.)

u need some $$$. the others will come when u work here and there.

plan a journey - by bus / train / plane.

which can u afford?

any relatives / friends in other places. dont tell them. surprise them.

learn some skills so u can get better job - pays better and can fend for yourself later

cost of renting room / food can be expensive.

so u gotta know how to eat / sleep cheap.

which city are u in?

prepare leaving note so parents need not / may not alert cops

Well first of all you should have money with you and keep it in a safe place on you and dont let it out of site. Try to go some place thats safe and avoid crowded areas. Depending on where you are at, you need to be prepared for any weather so bring porper materials or clothing for weather if you want to survive. I would try to stay in the suburb areas where theres less crime and stay in parks or something. Try to find a job so that you can live on your own. If you ever need someone to talk to you can email me @jalison9318@gmail.com

BTW I know how you feel

You seem pretty determined, but try to tough it out at home until your out of HS & over 18. Rent & food is not free, the real world has be a rough place. If your new Psy doesn't understand, try a different one until you find one who does.

No matter the mistakes of your past, tomorrow always has a dawn, a new day, and new possibilities. Good luck either way.

First place cops look is around places you would be comfortable and familiar with.

Run away to Hollywood - lots of young runaways go there. Weather is nice year round. You can sell your tail for cash when you need it.

teenager have your own idea, but try to believe parents maybe the best way.
