Should I move to South America?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
Honduras has a high crime rate. So if it were me, better Brazil Argentina. I don't believe that muslims will really take over europe. Islam is a religion, not a race, and so just because muslims have more children than other religions does not mean automatically that the children will be muslim too. Especially if other religions would try to convert them. I also don't think that north korea or china would attempt to attack south korea or japan. Most of South America does not have much Islam, it's mostly Catholic, and large numbers of Evangelicals as well in most areas. And there is not much sexism or mass executions or religious wars (used to be though). Argentina and uruguay and also chile are said to be similar to europe, but are also different in many ways. I don't think you should move here just because you don't like muslims though, It would be a big change and adjustment, it would not be worth it in my opinion.

NO. I am telling you right away, South America will suck you in and you will never get out. I am desperate to be where you are right now. I was born in America and my dad came to Argentina, Buenos Aires, for work and he always said that one day we'd be out of here. Guess what. It's been 13 years and we haven't gotten out.

They always complain about this country, which is pretty much like any other country in South America. The dollar blue is worth 10 pesos, when a few years ago it was 3. The inflation is everywhere right now, prices have gone up like crazy. A chocolate is worth 5 or 7 pesos.

That, without counting the boredom. I dream of going to Europe, I hate being here where you can't go on the street at night ever, or even at broad daylight. Please make yourself a favor and don't come to Argentina.

Hi there,

the muslim population in South America is also growing like everywhere else in the world, however, it is pretty small compared to Europe. The muslim population in Europe is 7.54% while it is only 0.41% in South America.

I think that South America has a lot to offer, and I am actually planning to move there myself within the next 3 years (I am from Europe but have been living in the U.S. for a while). The problem is to get a residence visa, which is not that easy unless you are a retired person.

Good luck.

I recommend you move to Colombia. It's a country with an enormous economic boom, safe and the Muslim population is small but they are there. The largest mosque in Latin America is also in Colombia and all foreigners are treated super nicely and descriminations is almost non existant considering that 10% pare of African descent, 70% white mestizo, and the rest are natives and immigrants

If you don't like the option, do take my advice to avoid countries like brazil, Venezuela and Argentina which are starting to have repress the people

No matter where you go, your paranoia will follow you everywhere.

The United States has the largest amount of Christians in the world. It will never become an Islamic theocracy. Nobody can change the beliefs of over 200 million people, not overnight, not in your lifetime.

Muslims can and will eventually engulf Europe. It's too late to just say "gtfo my country" now there is way too many of them. Whites have become to lazy to make more children which tends to come with secular thinking, cant blame them. Muslims will also take over The US of A. It will be one nation under Allah were we will have to watch MTV (muslims television ) an eat Anti-Semitic Hamburgers. Sigh

What about South America? You never hear about religion-based wars, mass executions and sexist or homophobic trouble over there. You never hear about there presidents waging overseas war for something like oil. So I am thinking about Brazil, Argentina, Honduras, anywhere. I would move to Japan or South Korea but there gonna be the first out when the North Koreans or Chinese loose their temper.

So guys, should I do it?
