I like websites like Travelocity because they give several different options for airlines and provide a + / - 3 day option to optimize your options of getting a better deal. LA has direct flights to Guatemala, so you should be able to find something around $500.
It starts cooling off a little during the time of year you're visiting, however Zacapa is pretty warm most of the time. You'll be in the high 80's low 90's during the day.

Take your ATM card to get money out as needed. Weather well be hot unless you are up in the mountains, where it may be not as hot.
500 is cheap, in zacapa I guess is always very sunny but maybe some rains.. well about money u can come with 500US$ for 2 months that would be okay.
Of this year,i wanted to go october first or probably november first and spend christmas there.Last time i visited was one year ago on may and my flight ticket was 500 exactly.Im wondering would the prices be higher or lower on these months? What are some good flight agencies with low prices?I live in Los Angeles.And hows the weather around this time? ill be visiting zacapa and ill be there aproximatey one month or two.Also how much money should i take to buy food and other mandatory expenses.Thank you.
