So I'm going to fly out to my hometown in two days but I feel very uncomftarble for some reason I feel as if I didn't really wanna go but even If I figure out I don't,I don't know how to turn down the oppurtunity my parents already wasted lots of money on clothes and passports (my grandmother's going with me) she's gone alone before but one thing that mostly holds me back from saying I don't want to go anymore is that my mom already told EVERYONE including my cousin who is dying of happinss that Im going and I don't want to break her heart It would be devastating for her,Idk what to do and I feel like crying from so much frustration please help!!!

IT IS DIFFICULT............to go back to a hometown, especially if you REALLY wanted to leave in the first place.

But don't back out now. Everyone wants to see you & it's only for a short VISIT, right?

You did not really state why an opportunity to travel and gain more experience might be a problem for you. I wish someone would pay for my wardrobe, passport and travel costs. A great number of people in this world never get such things bestowed on them.

In fact I wish I had a granny, I was never lucky enough to meet any of mine.

A cousin who was pleased to see might be good too.

When I was young holiday time meant looking for a job, not being escorted for fun and frolics elsewhere .

Make the most of having such wonderful relatives, they may not be around forever.

A part of being a family is making sacrifices for the rest of the family (even just for their happiness). In this case, the sacrifice is rather small. I would go if I were you.

Do you really just care about yourself? You will have your turn when you have inconsiderate kids. I do not understand why this is even a problem.
