I need some honeymoon ideas like where to go... I would like to hear from those of you who have actually been there and can recommend based on personal experience. We love the beach and summer, but anything fun is cool! :)

Up until this year I would have said Bali but I found somewhere better in Indonesia.
Weh Island [also called Sebang] is as remote as you can get with access to civilisation, Last week I stayed in a hut/bungalow on stilts overlooking palm beaches with white sand and quite deserted beaches too.
There is no airport on the Island so you have to arrive at Banda Aceh in north Sumatra then taxi to docks for a 50 minute boat trip [or 3 hours on ferry] to weh Island.
Then local transport and in my case collection from a jetty by small boat to resort which consisted of 16 chalets, restaurant , dive/snorkle school.
The place was out of this world,

Half the price of Bali too [ b&b ￡15 [$22US] per night for 2 people in a chalet] , The staff mostly speak English here too , not that I need it.
When at Banda Aceh you can see the memorials and relics to to tsunami which hit the place , such as a big ship 3 miles inland and a boat on a house that have been made into memorials. And the Tsunami museum etc
I now find that Bali is becoming overcrowded, getting expensive compared to the rest of Indonesia and traffic is unbearable around Dempassa with too many rowdy Australian surfers around Kuta beach.
Denise, one place I would definitely recommend is Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I have been there a bunch of times, and that's actually where my parents got married and had their honeymoon. It is a great place to get away for a week or two, and the mountains/landscape is absolutely beautiful. The weather is really nice and there are lots of things to do, as Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are geared towards tourism. Or, if you and your husband want to just spend time together, there are a lot of resorts to choose from, and there are chalets in the mountains that definitely are made for honeymoons.
Overall, a great place to visit with a romantic atmosphere :)
