Yeah you do. Ask about your ancestry even though you're light skinned lots of Mexicans or other hispanic people have light skin but you can't look white (even if your skin is) if you have black eyes and hair (like you do) for example I'm from Argentina and even though I'm light skinned I have a mixed eye color and light hair thats considered white not just having that skin tone
I'm Mexican/American and I can see how people might mistake you for Mestiza because many have similar features. If other Mexicans/Latinos are confusing you for Latina, chances are you can pass for Latina. You didn't mention your ethnicity. Are you Southern European, Persian or Armenian maybe?
I'm Mexican but I've lived most of my life in Texas. You definitely look Hispanic/Chicana.
people over use the term Mexican to anyone who they think or know that are Hispanic. for example: those Mexicans.

Or mestizos whatever you want to call it. I know Hispanics come in many colors. But people mistaken me for Mexican. Nothing against Mexicans but it's annoying getting mistaken for Mexican when I'm not. Can you please tell me you opinion if I look latina? And if you think I do please tell me why? Cause I don't think I do I've rarely met Hispanics that look like me
