As i found on my blog most of my traffic is from people who send their friends the links to my blog so then they open it and read it.
As someone else said posting the link on Twitter, Facebook, etc (proving you don't mind being associated with the website?, thats a good way to get traffic :)
Facebook? Instagram? You could also make business cards and post them around along with flyers! I know this is tough especially if you are younger. Why don't you incorporate your website name into a question onYahoo! Answers? Hope I helped!
