you may return the DD to the branch where you purchased with a letter and request them to make the payment. Bank may oblige after going through the records. They will verify the signature of the person who signed at the time of buying.
Deposit the DD with the bank with a request letter to cancell the DD and remit the proceeds to ypur bank account with them..
Yes, it can be refunded to you. You will have to fill up a perscribed form as also give an indemnity bond.
2 years ago I have applied for demanf draft from axis bank.
The draft was for passpotrt but some how I have not
applied for passport and DD is still with me.
Can it be refunded from the bank to me.
