So I want to take my boyfriend abroad over summer. Somewhere warm, that's peaceful with beaches. I don't want their to be loads of crowds but even if there is it would be nice if there were some secluded beaches where not many people go. He just hasn't been abroad for so many years now and I really want to surprise him. He deserves a break. Also, try to make it slightly cheap because I'm a student currently.
I can highly recommend Italy - beautiful art, architecture, scenery and music, interesting local festivals, great people and food. Beaches, mountains, lakes, the ocean, historic sites, world class museums and galleries and a lot of varied things to see and do. The best part is the wonderful Italian people. It's very easy to get out and explore Italy and further in Europe using the trains or budget flights.
I would highly recommend Italy or Greece as there is a lot of variety in these destinations, when I go on holiday with my GF and we want to go somewhere to be alone, I use budgetvacationfinder.com as they have good deals and I can read other reviews too
Maybe the Bahamas if you live in the US. It's a short flight, has lots to do, and is fairly cheap. You could always take a cruise as well!
i think a volcano....
