Google either of these two, you will not be disappointed,..no lizards in the rooms, just scorpions !
The Grano de Oro in San Jose' and the Los Suenos on the west coast, neat nicoya and a mile north of Jaco.
PS : Am only kidding about the scorpions,..there's nothing to be concerned about in either hotel.
Look up Barcelo in costa rica. I think they have 3 resorts there. The best is Barcelo Tambor.
I am looking at booking a stay in a luxury hotel at the end of our Costa Rica holiday next year.
However, I have read reviews of some high-end hotels which suggest that lizards and geckos are often able to get into hotel bedrooms, even when doors are shut and locked. I stayed in Thailand a few years ago at a hotel which had this problem and it was very unnerving!
In other people's experience, is this a common problem in resorts in Costa Rica?
