The type of person I am and what I am looking for:
1. I usually like the peace and quiet. but i want to have the *option* to be able to go places to socialize and party late on occasions.
2. Friendly and polite people.
3. A future career wise in engineering, ideally aerospace.
4. A place where i can either snowboard or surf. ideally both (yes, there are place were you can do this, like chile and turkey)
5. I prefer the cold over the heat
6. low crime rate
You should consider Europe, preferably Belgium. It's a small country central in Northern Europe with endless possibilities. The people are very friendly and polite, as long as you live in the Flemish part. For aerospacial activities you are in the right place, because in the Netherlands there is the only university for aerospacial engineering and lots of activities in this sector have settled in the neighboring countries. You can surf in the sea and snowboard in the Ardennes in winter. Maximum distance to everything in the country is 100 miles. More cold than heat. Marc Dutroux is safely in prison so now the crime rate is low.
Your question should ask where in the world are you allowed to live, because it's illegal to move countries just because you'd like to. You can snowboard and surf in Australia at the right time of year, but you won't be allowed to move here. Every country has very strict migration regulations and, without the correct visa, you cannot even visit let alone live.
Nope no surfing in Chicago, but it really is a great city in which to live. Or areas in the vicinity. It's a clean friendly city with all different kinds of neighborhoods to suit a particular lifestyle. Good luck!
I would suggest someplace right outside Chicago, Illinois.
There aren't any places to surf in Chicago, so for a place with all those things...
I'd have to say... Either Palm Beach, Florida or Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Colombia, Medellin or Armenia Quindio, both a 1.5 hour plane trip apart trust me there no place on earth like it the people r super friendly the country is becautifula nd the girls are hot and friendly, go check it out! only problem is gettign a good pay job nless you can work there whie getting paid US
Hi James,
before you figure out where in the world you wanna live you need to find out which countries are the easiest to get a residence visa. Most countries are very difficult to obtain a residence visa.
Good luck.
very confusing subject browse onto bing and yahoo it will help
I agree with Chicago.
