I am taking some time off from work (I am in the military), and am looking for some places to travel on leave. I am planning on taking 25 days of leave and am planning some traveling/vacation. I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions of some places to travel. I can travel in most parts out of the USA but would like to keep it close. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was thinking about taking a trip to the bahamas, but it seems like a lot of people are doing that these days. Where and what would you recommend? I love hiking, and seeing historic places.
