Very nice to visit. Note the 3 rings around some of the church spires. That symbol has meaning. The meaning is it was lived in by Visigoths, Muslims, and Christians in peace for 800 years. Just got back from there. You will spend most of your time at the largest of 24 such towers. Some are very small and some were never saved. So the tour will be of the biggest one that was restored. Contains Muslim script and amazing patterns in the tiles.
Calat Alhambra is a palace complex in Granada, Spain. It was originally built during the Moorish dominion of Spain as a fortress. It was one of the last holdouts of the Muslims during the Reconquista period, and fell in 1492 to the armies of King Ferdinand. Later Spanish kings used it as a Royal Palace
