I think you need to look carefully at the visa situation before you decide to move to Turkey. The need for a visa has recently been abolished for Iraqis but, according to the Turkish Government, visas are still required! So have a look at visa information on the Turkish Embassy website in your country.
I never heard visas were abolished, what I did hear was that you have to apply and pay for them online, and if you don't have the necessary visa, you could be turned away.
There is no district or even a patch of land left in Istanbul not urbanized. If you find a small area where you don`t see traffic of ugly tall buildings in Istanbul let me know. If there wasn`t Bosporus, Istanbul had died years ago. Thanks to that little body of water.
