Turkey is geographically, politically and officially part of two continents - Europe and Asia. The smaller northwestern portion (Thrace) is part of Europe, while the larger portion (Anatolia) is part of Asia.
Is there something like Europe and Asia?
Think again.
The modern border between Asia and Europe remains a historical and cultural construct, defined only by convention.
The Turkish city Istanbul lies in on both sides of the Bosporus, making it a transcontinental city. Russia and Turkey are transcontinental countries with territory in both Europe and Asia by any definition.
In ancient times, the Greeks classified Europe (derived from the mythological Phoenician princess Europa) and Asia (derived from Asia, a woman in Greek mythology) as separate "lands". Where to draw the dividing line between the two regions is still a matter of discussion. Especially whether the Kuma-Manych Depression or the Caucasus Mountains form the southeast boundary is disputed, since Mount Elbrus would be part of Europe in the latter case, making it (and not Mont Blanc) Europe's highest mountain. Most accepted is probably the boundary as defined by Philip Johan von Strahlenberg in the 18th century. He defined the dividing line along the Aegean Sea, Dardanelles, Sea of Marmara, Bosporus, Black Sea, Kuma–Manych Depression, Caspian Sea, Ural River, and Ural Mountains. This distinction between Europe and Asia has spread to the rest of the world, even though Asia contains multiple regions and cultures as large and populous as Europe, and as different and geographically separated from each other as they are from Europe.
The Council of Europe includes the Eurasian countries of Russia and Turkey, as well as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Cyprus. It notes that although Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia are geographically Asian, they are politically integrated into the European sphere.
Turkey is in Euroasia, it considered middle eastern
Strictly speaking neither. And at the same time, both.
'European' and 'Middle Eastern' are not mutually exclusive (take Cyprus, for example), nor are they comparable concepts (Europe is among other things a continent, whereas Middle East isn't).
Culturally and geographically they are 90% middle eastern, and the other 10% is geographically in Europe.
a Small part in Europa big part in Asia.Actually we are middle east country but many european accept us in europea.i dont know but on websites we are listed in Europa,in European maps we are lookin in europe..Actually our west side cities has no diffrence than European cities our east side lookin like middle east countries..

Turkey is Asia and has nothing in common with Christian Europe...
If you ask any ordinary person they will say Asia. Turkey is very different from Europe.
Turkey is somewhere inbetween. Its geographical location reflects that very well.
ASIA(MIDDLE EASTERN). DON'T LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO SAY IT'S IN INBETWEEN. IT IS NOT. IT IS IN ASIA!. ASIA IS THE BIGGEST CONTINENT. TURKISH PEOPLE ARE ASIANS(THEY PREFER TO BE CALLED MIDDLE EASTERN OR ARABIC).
