Places like New Zealand also have a number penguins. Even the Galapagos Islands have a penguin species, so you don't have to go "all the way". However there are some lovely uninhabited islands that might work for you as well.

Scooby, give yourself an upper cut. The only things that inhabit Antartica, besides the wild life, are the Scientific expeditions and weather stations. For some reason I believe there is a military post somewhere in the area for mainly monitoring distress, and directing sea rescues, for these silly solo yacht people.
