Does travel broaden the mind?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
I'm writing an essay for english next week and have no idea what to write. The subject is travel and my chosen question was 'does travel broaden the mind?'

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

It does broaden the mind. Being subjected to so many different situations calls for a variety of different responses. You become more aware and come to believe in your instincts. And you eventually become very good at it. It gives you confidence knowing that you can handle efficiently any situation which may arise.

yeah as you travel you learn, you learn about different cultures and sometimes religions when you travel.

Hopefully you have a mind that can be broaded, and yes, it is so, so go and try it for yourself.

It really does, especially if you're immersed into a culture. You learn how other cultures function, you learn the language and you kind of adopt the host culture as your own for life. :)

Absolutely. I learned more in 2 months of traveling in Europe then I did in my entire 4 years of high school. Put THAT in your report.

Yes it does! The experience of a new culture, new languages, foods, opens us tonew perspectives, causes thinking and problem solving, etc.
