-Weather: Non-extreme temperatures. No higher than 85 in the summer, no lower than 20 in the winter. Green but not pouring constantly. Preferably lower humidity.
-Landscape: Rivers, lots of forests, hills, close to/in mountains. If there's an ocean somewhere nearby that would be perfect.
-Laws and taxes: Guns of some sort and hunting allowed. No (or very few) laws restricting personal freedom. No censorship. Uncorrupted, smaller government that avoids wasting money and getting into debt.
Low property tax and income tax. (no income tax even better)
-COL: I'm ok with a higher cost of living, as long as it's because most people are doing ok, so they can afford to pay higher prices. And the money isn't worthless/becoming worthless, if we're talking about another country.
-People: The majority of people work and are independent/self-sufficient. People who are truly in need are the only ones getting help from the government. Most people are accepting of different viewpoints/lifestyles.
So. Is there any place somewhat similar to what I described? Or in the process of becoming like that?
Going with Anon, but a little better. The whole Oregon coast! Northern Cal, hits it, but taxes and some idiots take that out of the equation! The water's a little cold, but you'll get use to it in the summer!
I live in Coos Bay, Oregon and I personally love it here. It stays cold, about 40 - 50 degrees on average. The hottest it has gotten was 100, the coldest was probably 20. There's tons of rivers and beaches, and plenty of forests. Lots of areas to hunt, there's income tax, but no sales tax. You can't pump your own gas though, which sort of sucks, but creates a lot of jobs.
You're talking about Arab countries. They're the only ones with low or no income tax.
While it may rain a little more than you want in the winter, you are pretty well describing Bellingham WA. No state income tax there and 420 friendly. And mountain sports and hunting are close enough that you will get more than you will ever want. Lots of water sports too.

Sounds like Alaska in the summer, and Texas in the winter. Or if you want more tolerance, maybe northern California in the summer, and southern in the winter.
