It sounds wonderful. I think mine is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. It's fun to be bathing in a deep winter environment. You are floating in blue opaque water and nearly boiling yourself, while above the steam it's maybe minus 20F. And the sun goes down for almost six weeks. It has a strange romance to it, often fuled by massive quantities of alcohol.
(Of course sometimes when you are floating in this hot water, you realize it's really a very large volcano--and that can be a bit disturbing.)
I love places which have an arty vibe, and are also 'continentally European' in some way. Examples are Nice, Bastille, Brighton, Barcelona, San Giovanni in Rome, plush parts of Buenos Aires, Little Italy in San Francisco, all around Cape Town, and a all of the bohemian parts of London.
Riviera Maya Mexico
My favourite place I have been to has to be one of the Balaeric Islands.
If we are to say a place you'd love to go, I could be here all day reeling off destinations.
Kerala, India
The Gods Own Country
Nature at its best, Beautiful custom & tradition, Good people.
Karumba resort, The Maldives. High five to Mark, that's cool.
