Me and my teacher were speaking about it and he was telling me i should be "careful" as the men there love blonde hair and will often come over and stroke my hair, however this doesn't bother me as long as its just stroking my hair. He said they do this because natural blonde is rare in Turkey.
I asked my mom about this and she said its true as they love blonde hair as in turkey the women are all dark haired and that the Turkish people believe people with blonde hair are "Angels".
I was just wondering if this is true and if i should be extra careful around them when i go?
It's rare in Turkey to have blonde hair and of course with the notation that blonde hair is the pinochle of beauty people will stare at you. Don't think they stroke you though.
im turkish boy and i dont like blonde girls. but yes mostly people like blonde girls but they never stroke your hairs. thats shows already u dont know anything about Turkey. but we like too touch asians cheeks bc they are very cute. also do u know every year 36 million tourist coming to Turkey and they mostly blonde? so why we think you are angel...
Yes.. Different people have different preferences. Some people prefer blondes and some others prefer brunettes. There is no general rule really.
No we don't think they are angels blonde hair is important if the the said person is Turkish because blonde hair and blue green eyes are showing that person is a real Turk, since old Turkic people used to have those genetic traits.
I dont think thats true at all...but even if it was, how would they know whether you are actually a natural blonde or not. I dont think you hav any thing to worry about as far as hair, unless the texture is different from theirs. If the texture is different, they may find it "unique" or smething, but I dont think they would make a big deal out of hair color
come on, it is so weird if they would stroke your hair
I have blue eyes and white skin.
