It's a broad question. Better for what? For visiting, I enjoyed Chile because I like mountains and cool weather. I had very nice experiences with people in Peru.

I haven't visited yet, but feel I must go to Brazil at some point. Any place with so much good music has to be worth a visit, I think.

They are all different from each other. I have visited 10 countries in South America and that is my conclusion.

I have an apartment in Quito, Ecuador--and I love Ecuador! They have amazing rainforests, the Galapagos Islands, cool stuff in every price range, gorgeous arts and crafts and wonderful, warm people.Check it out!

The answer will vary person to person. Everyone is going to be biased when it comes to this question. I think the whole continent is beautiful and very diverse when it comes to its people, weather, cultures, customs, landscapes and languages. I think they're all awesome.
