as an American who has visited Western Aus.. Oz, definitely.
the seasons are reversed there so April through November is Fall and winter down there.
Australia. Have a few days in Sydney then fly to The gold Coast . You can get cheap fares to The Gold Coast with Jet star and it is only one hour by train to Brisbane. The beaches are awesome the night life is great.
Hollywood, Florida has an AMAZING beach with great value and is not far from Miami if you want that nightlife.
