Where can I find a summer job with accomodation in the UK as a 17-year-old dutch girl ?

This summer, I'd love to go to the UK and do some sort of job, but then I have no accomodation. I thought about some sort of "au pair" thing, but most kids hate me. I have no problem with petsitting though.

I did some googling but most of the time, qualifications are needed.. of which I have none.

Also, what sort of paper stuff should I do if I want to do it legally ?

(PS : the English language shouldn't be that much of a problem)

At 17 many jobs are not open to you, many require you to be 18. As for being an au pair, you need to pass a criminal records check to be able to work with children and most parents require someone who will commit for longer than a couple of months. I suggest you look at hotel work, there may be some seasonal summer work available, with accommodation, but it will be minimum wage which is very low for a 17 year old.

At 17 years old you will not be working with children for the summer in the UK you need to be 18 yrs old , need qualifications as well as a DSB back ground criminal records check..you want accommodation so look at holiday seasonal work along the 11,000 miles of coast line we have, in some of the holiday camps like Butlins,Haven http://www.leisurejobs.com/employer/butl... Hoseasons http://fouragency.co.uk/portfolio/hoseas... Bunns http://www.bunnleisure.co.uk/company-inf... them but it may be they will not take you until you are 18 yrs old http://www.caravan-jobfinder.co.uk/

Yes hotels particularly in tourist centres take on a lot of extra staff in the summer. Look at hotels in places like London, Bournemouth, Edinburgh

The jobs that are most likely to come with accommodation are those in hospitality, such as within hotels. Most will require you to be 18.

17 is vey young to be living and working in a foreign country so think very carefully about this and maybe consider putting it off for a couple of years .

Many hotels offer staff rooms - try the big hotel chains for seasonal work.
