Rome, Switzerland, Paris and back to London.
Any suggestions of how we can make full use of our short 10days in Europe?
Spend a few days in London. Then take the Eurostar train from London St Pancras International to Paris Gare dur Nord. City centre to city centre in 2 hours 20 minutes www.eurostar.com. Spend 3 days in Paris and take the train to Geneva in Switzerland, travel internally by train in Switzerland - dense network; frequent services. Fly to Rome and fly back from Rome to the U.S.. You are trying to fit a lot into 10 days. You might think about missing out one country

Fly into either hub Paris or London, depending on price, and use as a base, returning from there....Some cheap flights from London to Paris & Italy or to Paris could get train through Channel Tunnel..Train from Paris to Switzerland & even Italy a good idea...
I'm afraid you will see very little of any of these places. Europe is not as small as it looks on a map. You will spend a lot of time travelling.
Paris and London are not countries
So, you are going to spend your whole holiday driving?
Edinburgh to Munich is two days HARD driving, if you plan Rome and London you will spend the entire holiday on the road - pointless.
late November is not a good time to visit or drive around Europe ..you can get bad weather
