we are interested in parties shopping beaches(not sure weather this month is suitable to go or not) culture history (sought of everything).
please advise which cities and how many days.
thank you :)
Go to a specialist (there are many) and look at something like a two-centre break. Start with a few days in Istanbul (staying in the Sultanahmet area, which is where the incredible historical sites are) then get a domestic flight to one of the south or south-west coastal resorts. Istanbul won't be that warm (normal European temperatures), but on the south coast it will still be mild in October.
Istanbul is pretty amazing.
I spent a week in the Zonguldak province with friends - it's way off the beaten tourist track - and I had a wonderful time there. But finding people who speak English can be tricky. How's your German? Because many of the locals have lived and worked in Germany and Austria, they can speak German quite well.
If resorts are your type of thing, there are plenty of those.
Bear in mind that Turkey is a large country, and you might not want to be driving for hours and hours.
So if you are confused, probably the best idea would be participating with an organized tour like 'highlights of Turkey in 12 days'. This relieves you of all your worries. Others book a beach hotel and do locally offered day trips to some highlights in the hinterland. Just keep in mind that Turkey is a large country and travelling is slow.
Stay in the south west, anywhere from Istanbul to Antalya. Do not go to the eastern end of Turkey.
I recommend Rick Steve's book
Has to be Marmaris!
