Year away in Canada or Australia?

Hi guys ! I need your help me and my friend are going away for a year and we are stuck between Canada and Australia! I just want to know what peoples opinions are on both in terms of cost of living, work availability, wage, experiences, fun and friendliness of the locals! Where would you suggest on going from your experiences? Thanks :)

Canada offers more options and diversity .. in Aussie Land you can pretty much only live on either coast ... and it's a LONG trip side to side

In Canada you can live on the coasts or the interior and move around more freely ...

if you settle on the West coast of Aussieland (Perth) and don't like it ... you pretty much have to go all the way East ...

In Canada if you don't like the West ... you can try the Praireis (lots of work in the oil fields, great $$) ... if you don't like that try Ontario ... don't like that try Quebec or the East Coast

more options and cheaper to live

Went to Australia a couple of years ago for 3 weeks really enjoyed it and plenty of work (I'm only 14 but there were loads of people working at bars from all over the world and plenty of adverts for jobs answer my question please

I've went on vacation to Victoria Canada a few years ago and loved it there. It was sooo pretty and I really didn't want to leave. I definitely need to go back there again soon.

Australia. It's tropical and warm, and people are extremely friendly. Additionally, the landscape is diverse and gorgeous, and the animals are unique. I wish I could spend a year in Australia!

Australia. Hotter weather and less bustling crowds
