Brazil and Peru aren't enemies.
As far as I know, they aren't enemies! I'm Peruvian and this is the first I heard about it. Only thing i can think of land wars. Both Peru and Brazil share majority of the Amazon Jungle. But apart from that... they even speak different languages. Hmm could be a Political thing since its so corrupt there.

Peru have troubles with Chile because of the maritime dispute, and had problems with Ecuador beacause of the damarcation, but this is the first time i've heard about enmity with Brazil.

In 1904, there was a dispute between Brazil and Peru for a plot of land around Acre river; see news of the time in http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=22... ; but this dispute was peacefully resolved as Brazil bought the land and incorporated it into its territory (see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acre_River ). That was an old dispute that was resolved a long time ago.
They're not enemies AT ALL. I'm Brazilian, and have lots of friends from Peru. The only Brazilian "enemy" in South America is Argentina, but it's due to soccer. haha
