lol ya, I had this same problem with a friend of mine when I was growing up in middle school. It seemed everytime I turned my back he was either in florida (he actually went TWICE a freakin year) or in some place exotic (he went out of the US once a year...like wtf). Whereas the only place fun id been was arizona for a few days...big woop. But the truth is 1. People over exagerate the "amazing" places they go 2. its probably just the people that you talk to that go on these luxery trips 3. The basic fact is that as karen L said money truely doesn't grow on trees. It may seem like it does, but its really hard supporting a family while perhaps going to school, and insurance, and mortgage. Trust me you never truely understand the value of a dollar until you get your first job when you realize after making only 100 bucks after bustin ur *** all week that money is something that is hard to come by. So trust me most people are like you and want to go on big trips...but just dont have money. Hopefully someday you'll be able to take your family on big trips with all the money you make!! I sure wish I could.
May be your mom rejected your proposal because of budget. Why don't you try to go good places in your State or city. I searched and found some awesome places where you can go for fun.

It could be possible you already visited on some places. Choose those which you still not went there.
Well, maybe your parents can't afford such a vacation for the whole family. When I was growing up, the only family vacations we ever had were camping trips. I survived. So will you. When you are old enough to earn your own money, you can go anywhere you like, if you can afford it.
It might be because you don't have enough money. But find good places in your state to go to.
