Not all americans think canada is boring but for some people prefer other places in the world
I don't find it boring. I think some Americans are sort of programmed to find it inferior in some way. My relatives in Canada point that out. They'll show Americans the biggest building in Canada or the highest mountain or whatever and Americans will scoff and say they have bigger or higher or better ones in the US. Some Americans are more nationalistic than patriotic.
Secret: I love Canada. However, I love a good joke about Canada, too.
This Canadian knows a ton of Americans and I have never heard this from any of them. Every American I have ever met wants to visit here and more than a few would like to move here.
I don't think it's boring, but it's not as much fun there as here in the U.S. Nice country, but nothing worthy special there.
