I have lived in Costa Rica for over three years now and love it. The people are super friendly, the wildlife and nature is amazing. Costa Rica is the safest country in Central America, Chile is the safest country is South America. I don't know where Brazil stands on that.

I studied abroad in Costa Rica and LOVED it.. I think if you want to learn Spanish you should go there and you'll have plenty of opportunity to travel.

The language of Brazil is portuguese. Costa Rica is espanol. Would either deter you from studying there

Do you want to learn Portuguese or Spanish? You have to decide that. They are two very different countries. Brazil has many regions.

I want to study abroad next fall and I can't descide if I want to go to brazil or Costa Rica I love warm weather and I love beaches especially with clear water. I want to meet people and have a good time. Where should I spend the semester?
