Spain and Italy are on my list, though people who have been to Germany are usually greatly impressed (in face more so than Spain and Italy because of the better efficiency and service).
I lived in China for a while and it is a good place to travel around and experience very different culture.
Italy for the culture.
Then China for scenery and Norway.
Spain
It is a jolly country. The land of music !
Japan. People there are very polite, and as long as there's no earthquake, it's also very safe.
I was there this year and we saw Tokyo, Hiroshima and Kyoto. I liked all three places.
Italy!
You could see the Roman ruins, go shopping in Milan, admire art in Florence, ski in Turin, swim in Capri, travel around beautiful Venice, etc.
China. Just to get an understanding of the future ruler of the world.
