I′ve being in south america last year. Brazil and Argentina.
I prefer Brazil without thinking. The people are more friendly. More beautiful. The wheater is better, their culture, their happiness.
In argentina, there is nothing good about it, but good places to take some pictures, nothing else better than that.
Go to Brazil.
Argentina. Brazil is fine at the beaches coastline but riskful in unknown towns, you`ve better going back to the hotel `fore 6 PM . Argentinians are natural and helpful, Brazilians are mostly superfluous beyond their easy smiles and you never know what`s the intention. Argentina has so many troubles as Brazil has all of their own, but you breathe some European featurings that`ll fit you with comfort ( again, one more score for Argentina) and finally both Argie women and Argie males are deliciously handsome .

Brazil is 4 times bigger than Argentina and we have too many inequality.
South and Southeast of Brazil are the better places of the country, much better than any place in south america. I visited Buenos Aires (Argentina) is the best place of that country, but is not better than S?o Paulo, actually S?o Paulo is a global Alfa city, Buenos Aires is a global city for paraguayans and bolivians.
Detail, Argentina is crossing a recession right now, the inflation in the country surpass 20% per year, you wouldn't like have your money in Pesos Argentinos being corroded 20% per year and one time there you can't change your money to dollars, the argentinian government don't allow.

Go to Brazil, go to S?o Paulo, or Curitiba (best city in South America), Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, our inflation is low, our economy perspective is great, unemployment rate is lower here, our governament is not breaking the country, engineering profession in Brazil are the best rewards in the world, our metro sistem is not falling apart, we have good relationship with USA, United Kingdom, China and almost all countries, we are not a racist country, actually we are of the most happy countries on earth.
Both countries are great but it would be better to judge for yourself. Argentina has historically been the most developed country in Latin America, that has changed somewhat in recent years... Now we have Chile, Brazil and to a lesser extent, Colombia.
Brazil is racially and culturally more diverse than Argentina.. but diversity does not always mean better.

Don't forgot that Argentina was once the world's sixth largest economy and one of the mos developed countries betwin 1920 and 1970 (For example, Argentina built one of the first jet aircraft of the worldt, before U.S. and Russia) ... So Argentina is a developed country that has been sinking with the passage of time, while Brazil is a third world country that is growing every year.. the same with Chile.
At this point, I do not know which one is better.

Of course Argentina... It is not even comparable to Brazil in quality of life... Argentina has a very high HDI (Human Development Index) and along with Chile and Uruguay is one of the 3 most developed nations of Latin America... Brazil has a larger economy (but this doesn't make it richer, e.g. China has a larger economy than that of Japan, Germany and France but is far less developed generally than those countries, same is for Brazil and Argentina)
Argentina offers better opportunities to its citizens, a better public service and has a wealthier population. Brazil is growing fast but has a much higher socioeconomic inequality and its northern states are poorer than the southern ones...
I like both countries but I prefer Argentina and it's definitely the best...

As you can see from the chart in the link above, Argentina ranks better than Brazil in HDI.
Of course, this index is computed using some arbitrary weights for different parameters, but I think it is a good guess anyway.

I've been to Brazil but I live in Argentina, of course we are two Latin American countries, but Brazil has too much social problems if you compare both countries.
Poverty in Brazil is so much bigger than poverty in Argentina.
In terms of quality of life, Argentina is ranked 45o, very high for a Latin American country, you can compare it with Portugal, Poland or Croatia in Europe.
Brazil is ranked 85o very low, worst than Colombia, Venezuela or some Central American countries.

Both are poor, backwards countries. Thank God for America. Sadly Obama is sending us down the path of the third world.
