Where is the best country to live?

Im thinking of moving out of briatain and dont know where to go!

Unless you move somewhere in Europe (assuming you are a UK citizen), you cannot just pick up and move to another country. You would need a visa that allows you to live and work in another country and that can be difficult. You do have the right to live and work in much of the rest of Europe without a visa.

I spent over 13 years living in Mirandola, Italy and loved it there. I can highly recommend Italy - beautiful art, architecture, scenery and music, interesting local festivals, great people and food. Beaches, mountains, lakes, the ocean, historic sites, world class museums and galleries and a lot of varied things to see and do. The best part is the wonderful Italian people. It's very easy to get out and explore Italy and further in Europe using the trains or budget flights. At a high level, life isn't all that different; you still need to work to support yourself, shop, cook, clean house, etc. It's the details that are different. Life tends to be more relaxed. Rather than driving everywhere i tended to walk or bike places. Life was generally at a slower pace. There were frequently things going on in town and local events tended to have something for the entire family. You could stroll into town in the evening and see a concert, dance recital, play in local dialect or other event in the piazza two or three weeks a night in the summer. The local market was Saturday in the town where I lived and then would move on through other towns during the week. There was a local antiquaria (flea market) the 2nd Sunday of every month where the streets were filled with merchants and people browsing/socializing.

The economy is in poor shape right now and unemployment is high. It can be expensive. A student visa isn't too difficult to get assuming you can get admitted to a school and have the resources to support yourself there without working. You could also look into an elective resident visa which allows you to live there without working. A work visa would be much more difficult. http://www.esteri.it/visti/home_eng.asp

Like Italy, much of southern Europe has high unemployment. What's best for you depends on the languages you speak, what education/job skills/job experience you have. The economy and unemployment rate of the prospective host country and your personality and preferences.

There is probably no single best country, city or town that exists, because every place will have its own plus and minus points.

It all depends on your abilities, skills, character and experiences of life. How certain of yourself that you won't become lonely in a short while, thinking of home, family and friends that you miss? And how 'friendly' will that new country treat you before you gain citizenship? You must research further to find out how other immigrants have found out about their new lives and whether it is really worthwhile to relocate.

Blessings and may your adventures and future be an always happy and fruitful one! :-))

You have a choice of Europe on your doorstep hence the UK is in the EU (European Union)

But if you can't go to the USA

Then there's always Australia or maybe Canada or even New Zealand

That's easy, Colombia, yes Colombia. I live here and I love it and so do all of my expat friends. The people in Colombia are the friendliest people in the world, and it is very inexpensive to live here. Check out the real Colombia at: http://www.colombialivinggood.com (ColombiaLivingGood) Oh by the way, you are really FREE here. You don't have to worry about so many rules and regulations.

i've always thought that the U.S.A was quite cool, but the effort to actually be a legal citizen is to much.

It depends where you've been and what places you like best.

Good luck with moving and i hope you find the perfect location :)

Where is 'briatain'? Or do you mean BRITAIN?!

The grass is always greener on the other side - but when you can't find somewhere to live, or become ill and realise that you have no NHS so have to pay for your healthcare, or when you realise that you can't get a job but can't claim the benefits in the chosen country (assuming, of course, that there ARE benefits!) and possibly can't even speak the language, then you may actually conclude that you're better off here after all!

As Dorothy says in The Wizard of Oz, 'there's no place like home'!

If you intend to emigrate, you have to do some proper research into all the implications BEFORE you go.

everywhere in the world are same. If you are well qualified you can move to UAE. its a tax free country. so you can earn lot

Just go somewhere in europe

iraq. I hear its a nice place.
