California! It is my home state as well(I'm sure most people are partial to their home state) California has mountains, beaches and Forrest
I grew up in northern Virginia and love the scenic beauty and history of the state and the variety of things to see & do. I also have family still living there and visit a few times every year including when I lived in Italy. However, in my experience every state I've been to and all the ones I've lived in (Virginia, New York, Georgia, Florida, California) have something to offer.

My favorite state is California and Florida because it has too many luxurious places and wonderful beaches.
Idaho, we have beautiful mountains lakes and wilderness that you'd love.
Texas, because it encapsulates everything wrong with the US of A.
