You really can't go wrong. Any place you go, you'll have the opportunity to see and do interesting things and learn something about a different culture. I spent over 13 years living in Mirandola, Italy and loved it there. I can highly recommend Italy - beautiful art, architecture, scenery and music, interesting local festivals, great people and food. Beaches, mountains, lakes, the ocean, historic sites, world class museums and galleries and a lot of varied things to see and do. The best part is the wonderful Italian people. It's very easy to get out and explore Italy and further in Europe using the trains or budget flights. At a high level, life isn't all that different; you still need to work to support yourself, shop, cook, clean house, etc. It's the details that are different. Life tends to be more relaxed. Rather than driving everywhere i tended to walk or bike places. Life was generally at a slower pace. There were frequently things going on in town and local events tended to have something for the entire family. You could stroll into town in the evening and see a concert, dance recital, play in local dialect or other event in the piazza two or three weeks a night in the summer. The local market was Saturday in the town where I lived and then would move on through other towns during the week. There was a local antiquaria (flea market) the 2nd Sunday of every month where the streets were filled with merchants and people browsing/socializing.
Italy, Thailand, Russia, Serbia or Costa Rica.
Well, what language do you want to learn? Spanish? French? German? Any other?
Best make up your mind about that first, then narrow down that list a little more.
I recommend Spanish, since it might come in useful in the U.S. and it's also easy to learn. And although I've never been to Costa Rica, this would probably be my choice.
Sweden is the way to go brahh. Sweden has great education that's free. if your a guy, the girls there are hot and if you're a girl, the guys are handsome... The country itself is beautiful! the winter in Sweden is nice, its also nice in summer. and also, for vacation you can go see the Northern Lights at the Aviso National Park
I'm Macedonian so maybe I am too biased but I would choose Serbia.
Serbia is my favourite country of all ex Yugoslavian countries, I love everything about them, their food, music, beautiful girls, night life is amazing, their culture & language are very similar to Russian and Serbs are very hospitable & friendly.
This question is not answerable. It's all about you. Some people would never consider leaving the western world. Others like me would never ever travel in the western world. What do you want?
You should choose the one that fits in your conditions... Portugal is not a bad place, but if i were you, i guess i would choose either China or Japan, because of their culture...
russia i know right now people are judgmental about it but thats the news if you go and give it a chance its a wonderful place with super nice people and amazing ballet my cousins live there i visit them all the time and i just love it :)
