Yo bro! I suggest that you do it all!
First, take a gap year. Get yourself a job and save up a bit of cash for a plane ticket, and travel the wold like a street bum. It's the best way of doing it, and not much money is needed! I am from Norway but live in the Middle East –?for fun. And I've been making a couple of travel documentaries with a man called Matias Nordahl Carlsen. He hitch-hiked from Norway to China, and then from North of Norway to South Africa –?without bringing any money. That's right. You can travel the world for free if you want to. No problem. You just need to start.
So go to the Middle or Far East and enjoy your youth a tad. Then you're going to go back to where you came from and do that University Degree. (You will see a lot of people that has no opportunities in life, and you will realize how fortunate you are to be able to have a proper education.)
Also, University is the time of your life! If you don't do it, you'll be a grown up right away. It's a question about living your youth. For me, just having that piece of paper enables me to live my life the way I want. There is no way in hell I would be able to go and live anywhere I like in the world if I didn't have my Fine Art degree. It gives me such freedom you have no idea!

to travel the world with your partner you will need a minimum of $ 1,000./month. Keep in mind that you will not be allowed to work anywhere legally, although you will be able to find some kind of work. The jobs you will get will pay you extremely little money though.
You are better off getting a college degree in a field that will allow you to travel. Good luck.
the choice is ultimately yours, but when youre a 45 year old waitress you will wish that you went to university. as for busking... well you wont make a lot of money like that and some places its illegal to do so without proper permission from an authority. my advice would be to go to uni. you will be out of that village at least. get yourself a proper education and get yourself a good job. then you will have all the money you will need to travel the world.
WOW, Your ideas sounds like interesting,but I must say if you want to do the things you love,you have to do somethings you dislike first.There are many challenges in our lives,escape is not the way we solve the problem. Maybe you could try to acquire some knowledge at university, at school,you can leanr something uesful.Then earn money by the skills you got before you go abroad.
In addition,I think you will come true your dream!
just reading that tells us your not ready for this world ...you need to grow up a lot more ..not 18 and you got a partner ??....we got money! not for long ..silly girl ..you have been protected with your little village ...its a jungle out there ..you will be eaten alive ...there are some very nasty people out there ..looking for people like you ..and if your boyfriend wants to go along with it then he is stupid as well ..go to uni ..that's your escape route
Didn't hear how you would finance this. What you want to do is a past-time, a hobby. It won't pay a single bill for you. You do this on your vacations from work,. That's what happens and what you will have to do too. Maybe your Mom is rich?
